My life of Abracadabra

Years before books filled my dreams, I sketched a simple idea for a story: boy leaves village, has adventure in forbidden forest, and returns with new perspectives. Your classic Hero's Journey template. I thought it would be the concept for a psychedelic folk album.

Then I built a cabin in the woods. This launched a transformative journey. I was spirited away on a great adventure. I did some inner building too. I remembered alchemy and turned my travails into fantasy tales, wrote music, found accurate words for the mechanical functions of this little dream called life...

My reality followed my words.

The story sketch that became a lived experience is now an entire storyworld with a fantastical populace. These fluting fey people have even invaded Earth! Wonder has gone viral. Mysterious pirate ships haunt New York, the military is gone, and trolls are boasting spells stronger than magic. It’s a Peter Pan-demic.
